Celebrating our 16th Birthday
Since we first opened our doors we have recorded over 450,000 visits through our doors, that’s a lot of people needing help, and a lot of tea bags and loo roll!

Our great team of staff and volunteers have been working behind the scenes to get us ready for Christmas and to support the Toy Appeal. We want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

We want to say thankyou for the support you have given us over the last 12 month

Celebrating May’s National Walking Month the Lighthouse Project Walking Group were chosen by the Greater Manchester Walking Festival to host Dame Sarah Storey as they went round their usual Friday lunchtime walk.

We celebrated Eva’s 100th birthday with flowers, cake, food, and good company.

Regardless of outcome I now feel in the strongest position I could be… thanks to you!

I love Costa Coffee in Middleton Shopping Centre because I love meeting people there for an encouraging chat…
Your centre continues to be a beacon of hope and support to all of those in the Middleton area.

I don’t think that we realised the extent of your work…we’d love to do some collaborative working in the future

What is your biggest inspiration?
My mum. Always thinking of others before herself and everything done with a sense of humour.

you brought me back from the brink of doing something really stupid, and that was the start of me being made welcome into the Lighthouse family

As a group our volunteers contribute in excess of 12,000 hours of free support, which if we had to pay for it would cost us well over £160,000.
