Earlier in the year we posted a story about the Craft Union where they were asking the public to nominate local community organisations to receive a share of their Community Fund. Many of you supported this campaign and put forward the Lighthouse Project as a cause worthy of support.

Once again we want to give an Amazingly BIG shout-out to Billy, and all the staff and customers of the Edgar Wood who have been fundraising in the run up to Easter.
Today they generously donated a whopping £1,700 towards our work supporting the local community.
We are so humbled by this kind gift, and are greatly encouraged by your ongoing support of what we do – Thank You.
The Lighthouse Project is part of local charity Inspire Middleton which raises all its own funding through grants and donations. The ongoing help of groups like Edgar Wood is just the type of thing that we need – are you able to donate and invest in helping us tackling poverty and building a better community?
