We have recently celebrated national Volunteers Week, and here at the Lighthouse Project we just couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers who come in and support our work week in and week out. Our volunteers are at the very heart of what we do, so during Volunteer week we have been showcasing and featuring a selection of current volunteers from some of our teams.
In this first post say hello to some of our Reception volunteers who have helped facilitate 24,500 visits alone in the past 12 months. They do an amazing job for us, welcoming everyone into the centre and helping people with a variety of issues – they may have even helped you in some way?
A heartfelt thank you goes to our core reception team including Pauline Griffiths, Margaret White, Steve Gunby, Joanne Pearce, Courtney Waters, Christine Parker, Olivia Henstock, Jillian Thorpe, Carole Hibbert and Carol Farrar (pictured Courtney Waters, Joanne Pearce and Steve Gunby)
