Summer 2022 – surplus school uniform wanted
We are working with the Random Acts of Kindness for Middleton and Surrounding areas facebook group in supporting their Summer 2022 school uniform drive. This is about collecting school uniforms that are in good condition but no longer required and sharing them with families who could make use of them – see note below

“Once again we are asking for school uniform donations,
The last uniform drive was a big success and there’s always a helping hand here, and I think most families are feeling the pinch the year so we wanted to do it again !”
We have teamed up with the Lighthouse Project and we will be holding an event for anyone to come along on those days (to be confirmed). We would love if you have any clean uniform (from Middleton and it’s surrounding area schools) in clean and washed great condition you no longer need and could drop them off in bags at the Lighthouse Project top floor of Middleton Shopping Centre Open Monday-Friday
Any items you can donate are greatly appreciated, and then why not pop along on the dates we are hosting the event to come and see if they have the bigger sizes that you may need. The more that comes in the more we can offer and a great mix of schools.
The Lighthouse project is also in need of food supplies for its food bank and Pantry used many local families each week, so I’m asking if anyone is popping in dropping uniform off if you have any extra food you could drop in – also when coming for the uniform event how great if you could swap an item for uniform ? So many people can benefit from a simple act of kindness 🥰

- PASTA SAUCE / CURRY SAUCE
- SOUP
- TINNED VEGETABLES (ANY)
- FRUIT JUICE/CORDIAL
- TINNED MEAT
- TINNED FRUIT
- RICE PUDDING / SPONGE PUDDING OR CUSTARD
- CUSTARD
- BREAKFAST CEREAL
- JAM OR SPREAD
- BISCUITS & SNACKS
