Need to print or scan something?

You can call in at the Lighthouse Project and we can print or scan your documents for you.

This print service is intended to be a helpful resource for small or quick printing needs. Please note that we are not a print shop, or full blown print service, and as such there are some things that we cannot do, or are not suitable for what we are offering.

Our reception team are volunteers, please respect them and the help or guidance that they offer.

The Following conditions apply to printing / copying / scanning:

• Printing is cash only, we can’t accept card payments for small amounts.
• If we are busy on reception we are not always able to print documents on demand, especially if this involves multiple documents and multiple ages. You can always use our day-lounge computers to print documents off yourself.
• For larger documents or multiple pages, e.g. 15+ we would ask you to print these yourself using our day-lounge computers.
• We cannot scan / copy passports or other ID documents for people not present.

The charges for printing are on a CASH ONLY basis:

How to have something printed

1. Send us an email

Send us an email with the documents attached that you want to print. Our email address for printing is – mail@lighthouseproject.org.uk

2. Come in and confirm

Come in and confirm which documents you want to print, i.e. which pages, all, or just some, and how many copies you want. We will not print off any documents in advance, and once they have been printed they will be deleted from our system.

3. Pay for your prints

Scanning

We can scan documents for you to add as attachments to emails whilst in the Lighthouse Project using our computers. We will not send documents externally for security reasons.

Generally this is service intended for the scanning of a few documents, for which there is no charge. But if you want/need to scan a large amount of multi-page, or complicated documents then please ask in advance about charges.
