What's involved?
The essence of the club is to provide a safe space where you can access support, learn new skills, and improve your opportunities of getting back into work, or changing your career. It is intended to be a group where you can come on regular basis, be amongst like minded people, share experiences, and learn from one another.
The Work club will embrace many of the existing activities and support options that are in the wider Lighthouse Project. It will include group sessions, training courses, job hunting workshops and tutorials, and all of our online job hunting support. There will be some structured input from experienced practitioners so that you will not be alone in trying to find the right job.
We recognise that many job seekers also face challenges with regards to computer skills and using the internet, this is where our Learn My way sessions can really help. Here are some of the many courses you can do to making sure you have all the core skills that you need to make job hunting easier and hopefully more fruitful.
