Keep the date (revised) – Wednesday 24th Jan 10am till 2pm for our Chef’s Brigade Open Day.

The Open Day is a taster session being run for people who might be interested in either learning how to cook, or using their existing cooking skills to help others in the community. Come when you can during the time slot.
From this we are looking to establish the first volunteer led community based Chef’s Brigade in the Lighthouse Project to support the centre and to cook meals for the Pantry.
The training is being offered by internationally trained chef Noel Goulding, of the Veterans Food Company, amongst other organisations he supports.
The sessions will be fun, creative, full of energy, and supportive. You’ll be shown how to create recipes, cook community lunches, and how to cook meals suitable for freezing. For some this could be a route into the catering industry and Noel has links to lots of employment opportunities.
Interested?
Put the date in your diary and contact us to let us know that you are coming.
Call Noel on 07906 482897, or the Lighthouse Project reception on 0161 643 1163.

See you next week.
