Can you help us fill our van with food?
Can you help us keep putting food on the table for struggling families in Middleton?
Our Foodbank and Pantry are busier than ever, supporting more and more people because of the cost of living crisis. A lot of our regular donors are also suffering making ends meet which means that our food stocks are getting really low. Because of the increase in food being given out and a significant drop in the donations coming in we are now buying more food to stock our shelves than we have ever done in the last 9 years.
So, this is the reason for our Call-to Action – Can you help us to fill our van with donations of food so we can continue to support local families in need?
You can find a list of the types of food we need on the Middleton Central Foodbank donate food page here – Middleton Central Foodbank – Donate Food

Middleton Central Foodbank supports people in crisis, helping them tackle immediate needs and challenges. The Lighthouse Pantry is our food club that supports families who are struggling with their monthly household bills including food costs.
Both projects work with our Lighthouse Money Advice service which helps people maximise their income/benefits, or help deal with their debts. All working together to make lives better.
Looking at the snap-shot stats below the two food projects have given out 6120 food parcels/baskets and supported 3,737 people in the last 12 months, so you can appreciate the challenge we face in keeping things topped up.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last year, as you can see your donations DO make such a difference.
