Fundraising donation for the Lighthouse Project
We want to say a massive thank you to the Alkrington Branch of the Manchester City Supporters Club for their recent donation of £1,000 to the ongoing work of the Lighthouse Project.
The club raised the funds through a number of social events and fundraising activities during the summer. The cheque was presented to Carl Roach at the club’s recent AGM by Helen Wilson the newly elected Chair.
Carl shared with the group about some of the wider activities and services offered at the Lighthouse Project to give the club members a broader understanding of what goes on inside the Lighthouse, and to encourage some of them to call in and see for themselves, and possibly volunteer or get involved in other ways.
