After a long time searching and much negotiating we can finally confirm that the Lighthouse Project and Middleton Central Foodbank have a new place to call home.
With the support of the Middleton Shopping Centre management team we have been able to negotiate a short-term lease to take space on the top floor of the shopping centre in what was the former bazaar area and the adjacent retail unit.
As we have only just signed on the dotted line we have a lot to do in order to turn the space into the new Lighthouse Project with all the services and activities that you are familiar with, along with some new proposed additions so we can welcome, inspire, and support more and more people in the community to achieve…
We are celebrating the end of a challenging year with our Christmas lunch on Wednesday 14th December from 12:30 onward, after which we will start to pack up ready to move into our new location. In doing so we also want to give thanks for this early Christmas present and celebrate Christ the King born to bring light into the world.
We will be busy behind the scenes over the next few weeks and hopefully it won’t be too long into the new year before we will open our doors on a new season. Keep your eyes open for regular updates that we will post as we go along.
