Ever been challenged by someone why don’t you just do something about it!
Well here at the Lighthouse Project we recognise this and have put together a great course to develop your skills and learn all about going online and looking for work.
We run weekly sessions to help you build yourself up and to give you skills to release your potential, why not give it a try?
Why don’t you…? is our 12-session employability and motivation course, aimed at helping you to improve yourself, your employment and computer skills, buildconfidence and motivation, develop your skills and help you to learn how to use the internet for job searches and making online applications.
In a recent survey 90% of employers rated Email, word processing and internet searching as the top 3 computer skills they are looking for, and 72% of employers wouldn’t interview someone who didn’t have basic computer skills.
The course is free and the 12 sessions cover a range of personal development, computer and key employability skills to give you a solid foundation from which to improve your employment chances.
The course runs on a rolling programme on a 4 weekly cycle, so you can start when you are ready and just continue until you reach the same point on the next cycle.
