Middleton Photography Group
Running every Wednesday we have a new photography group here at the Lighthouse. The group starts from 1:00pm and all are welcome, just bring your camera.
The group is being run by Wayne a local amateur photographer who wants to share his skills and knowledge with other budding photographers and existing amateurs. As far as we can tell there is no official Middleton Photography group so we thought we’d set one up and encourage local people to get involved.
Have you ever wanted to know how to take pictures to be proud of, or wanted to learn how to get the best out of your camera? If so, come along to our group to learn new skills, get useful tips and meet other like minded people.
This will be a practical course and topics to be covered include:
- Exploring camera modes
- Uploading pictures to a PC
- Different lens types
- Photo composition
- Aperture and shutter speeds
- How a camera works
We may even throw in a photography competition to get your creative juices going.
