Christmas celebrations and thanksgiving

We have had a great time today, sharing Christmas joy with friends and visitors at the Lighthouse Project Christmas party.

We gave thanks for all of our blessings this year and reflected on the privilege of being able to support so many in our community who are experiencing need and difficult times.

The celebrations included a short music quiz by our very own quizzer, Dave Melia, followed by a tasty buffet lunch and refreshments. Once this had settled we enjoyed an extended time of singing traditional Christmas carols and a game of pass the parcel.

We pray that next year we will be able to do even more in welcoming and supporting people to achieve… Be blessed.

The Lighthouse Project is now closed until Wednesday 3rd January 2018. In the week between Christmas and New Year Foodbank vouchers can be obtained from Brentwood Middleton Day centre and they are holding some of our food parcels to cover the time when the foodbank is closed.
