Middleton Heartline learning how to get online

Pam on hand to help you get online

Spreading the Word

As part of the national Spring Online initiative and the local Get Middleton Online Initiative members of the Lighthouse Project team and Groundworks dropped in to the Middleton Arena to provide some advice and support to the members of Middleton Heartline about how easy it is to start using a computer.

Pam Semp, Lighthouse centre manager pictured, was on hand to speak to anyone interested in having a go at getting online. “We find that many people are still afraid of using a computer, however with some gentle words of encouragement and guidance we find we are able to support people as they make thier first tentative steps into the online world.” “Once there, we find many thoroughly enjoy the experience and wonder why they had never tried it before.”

If you want to find out more about how easy it is to get started using a computer, or to get answers to some of your questions, then please drop-in at the Lighthouse, we are a friendly bunch and are open every day Monday – Friday 10 – 4.
