Your Voice Advocacy Service
Need help speaking up and getting your point across?
Then Your Voice Rochdale may be able to help
New weekly advocacy sessions are being held at the Lighthouse every Wednesday between 11:00am – 1:00pm Your Voice volunteers will be visiting the Lighthouse Project to be on hand to help anyone who might need some help speaking up for themselves or to solve problems on their own.
An advocate can help you to access information or go with you to a meeting or interviews concerning your health and social needs. An advocate can also write letters on your behalf, or speak for you in situations where it maybe difficult for you to say what you want.
Your Voice Rochdale is a free independent service managed by an experienced advocate and a team of volunteer advocates that work in the Borough of Rochdale. The team is experienced in working with people who have physical or leaning disabilities, a mental health need or difficulties due to their age.
